Butchershop Creative invited Jordan Baron aka Harrison B, a singer/song-writer weathered in Nashville, Tennessee to come hang out at our offices in San Francisco. We decided to shoot some video with him performing live on the downtown streets(2nd & Harrison ironically). Harrison B classifies his sound as neo-soul, with flares of folk, blues, touched with simple and thoughtful lyrics. We just think it fits like a pair of comfortable boots and your favorite jeans. You can't help but think about whiskey and friends.

ITS ALL DONE BY HAND

Derek Jostad, Jacqueline Murray and Alex Leff hit up Butchershop Creative to help them develop the brand for a new gourmet food truck alley in downtown San Francisco. We ended up naming it Truck Stop and created a vintage look and feel for the logo, identity materials, website, marketing collateral, media/sales kit, and outdoor signage that would inevitably require us to call our friends over at New Bohemian Signs to paint the signage by hand  (keeping up with the artisan characteristics of the concept). We sent them the design of the billboards and they handled the rest. There is something incredible about hand painted signs. They truly become art. We went outside for a bit to catch them in the process. Check out New Bohemian Signs on their website and trust us when we say the hand painted sign can go a long way for your business.Truck Stop is at 450 Mission Street alley right next to Butchershop Creative between Fremont and 1st Street, open Monday thru Friday from 11am to 2pm, different food trucks everyday. Timelessness, etiquette, discernment, taste, style, class, confidence, ode to the old, refinement, grand-dads, and wisdom-- The Perfect Suit. We've known about Astor & Black for a while now and have always admired their company and what they know about a man's suit . The Astor & Black Custom Clothing experience is one of unparalleled convenience, quality and value. Christian Gardner came to Butchershop Creative to take some measurements for our new suits the other day (he'll also come to your office or home). We got to choose the fabric, the color, the lining, the style, the lapel, the buttons, the cut, everything. They even put a custom label on the inside at the end with your name. Maybe we'll call our suits "THE BUTCHER." Here is a short video of getting suited up.

HOLLOW ME THIS

Clinton Jay Miller is an amazing architect who stripped his real professional life of the proverbial corporate fat to compliment his minimal furniture designs in his mind. The redundancy of work days are over. At his wood shop he meditatively creates stripped down, minimal, reclaimed wood furniture pieces. He calls the work in progress - HOLLOW.  We call it refreshing. We caught up with him in his woodshop and he shared the ideas of his movement with us. If you are interested in talking to him about his pieces, send him an email and get in touch. He's a pretty cool guy too.

Butchershop Creative got to hang out with the boys from Brooklyn Circus. Originality, style, timelessness are all things Butchershop Creative and Brooklyn Circus share in high regard. During the Fillmore Jazz Festival here in San Francisco we asked them a simple question most people find quite hard to answer -- "Why do you do what you do?" Check out the video below to see what Gabe and Ouigi had to say about that.
