Harrison B - Soul Francisco

1/1

Butchershop Creative invited Jordan Baron aka Harrison B, a singer/song-writer weathered in Nashville, Tennessee to come hang out at our offices in San Francisco. We decided to shoot some video with him performing live on the downtown streets(2nd & Harrison ironically). Harrison B classifies his sound as neo-soul, with flares of folk, blues, touched with simple and thoughtful lyrics. We just think it fits like a pair of comfortable boots and your favorite jeans. You can't help but think about whiskey and friends.

THE HARRISON B LP, the self-titled debut release, was recorded independently under Flat Wound Sound, LLC @ Spring St. Studios. The eclectic mix of 8 tracks was co-produced by Taylor Lonardo and Jordan Baron, before being mastered on Music Row @ South St. Studios by Daniel Scobey.

If you dig this, please like his facebook page and share with your friends.

ITS ALL DONE BY HAND

1/1

Derek Jostad, Jacqueline Murray and Alex Leff hit up Butchershop Creative to help them develop the brand for a new gourmet food truck alley in downtown San Francisco. We ended up naming it Truck Stop and created a vintage look and feel for the logo, identity materials, website, marketing collateral, media/sales kit, and outdoor signage that would inevitably require us to call our friends over at New Bohemian Signs to paint the signage by hand  (keeping up with the artisan characteristics of the concept). We sent them the design of the billboards and they handled the rest. There is something incredible about hand painted signs. They truly become art. We went outside for a bit to catch them in the process. Check out New Bohemian Signs on their website and trust us when we say the hand painted sign can go a long way for your business.Truck Stop is at 450 Mission Street alley right next to Butchershop Creative between Fremont and 1st Street, open Monday thru Friday from 11am to 2pm, different food trucks everyday. SUITS YOU MAN

"Fashion fades, but style is forever."

1/1

Timelessness, etiquette, discernment, taste, style, class, confidence, ode to the old, refinement, grand-dads, and wisdom-- The Perfect Suit. We've known about Astor & Black for a while now and have always admired their company and what they know about a man's suit . The Astor & Black Custom Clothing experience is one of unparalleled convenience, quality and value. Christian Gardner came to Butchershop Creative to take some measurements for our new suits the other day (he'll also come to your office or home). We got to choose the fabric, the color, the lining, the style, the lapel, the buttons, the cut, everything. They even put a custom label on the inside at the end with your name. Maybe we'll call our suits "THE BUTCHER." Here is a short video of getting suited up.

HOLLOW ME THIS

1/1

Clinton Jay Miller is an amazing architect who stripped his real professional life of the proverbial corporate fat to compliment his minimal furniture designs in his mind. The redundancy of work days are over. At his wood shop he meditatively creates stripped down, minimal, reclaimed wood furniture pieces. He calls the work in progress - HOLLOW.  We call it refreshing. We caught up with him in his woodshop and he shared the ideas of his movement with us. If you are interested in talking to him about his pieces, send him an email and get in touch. He's a pretty cool guy too.

LETS JOIN THE CIRCUS

Fashion fades but style is forever.

1/1

Butchershop Creative got to hang out with the boys from Brooklyn Circus. Originality, style, timelessness are all things Butchershop Creative and Brooklyn Circus share in high regard. During the Fillmore Jazz Festival here in San Francisco we asked them a simple question most people find quite hard to answer -- "Why do you do what you do?" Check out the video below to see what Gabe and Ouigi had to say about that.

GABI WARMS THE SOUL

1/1

This weeks Trough by Butchershop Creative is something special. A couple of weeks ago we hung out at Speedway Meadow in Golden Park, San Francisco to celebrate Misha Vladimirskiy's 30th birthday. It was a day filled with friends and family and lots of wonderful bbq,. There was enough cognac to make one go into deep hibernation like the Honey Badger after being bitten by a Cobra Snake, but we digress. Anyway, one of Misha's gifts was this amazing cover of Aretha Franklin's "Baby I love You" sang by Gabi Walter Clay. Almost more amazing is that she is seventeen years old and has a depth and wisdom in her voice that calmed the park that day. We had to share this with the rest of the world and if you dig this video, please spread the word and share it with the ones your love, even the ones you don't love so much. Thanks.

KREAYSHAWN DROP'S IT LIKE ITS HOT

1/1

You may have seen her popular music video "Gucci Gucci" on youtube with over 1.5 million views or seen her live at Som Bar in San Francisco or on the local radio stations KMEL & WILD. If you haven't heard of Kreayshawn, take a gander at her little flow she did for us the other day. It's kind of refreshing to see things that aren't what you expect. And we love what she is doing. It is part of the office soundtrack right now."
