We are very pleased to announce that Butchershop Creative has recently become a corporate sponsor of the Django Software Foundation (“DSF”). We’re able to give back a little to a great online community that has enabled our business to become successful in serving our clients.
DSF oversees Django, an open source web framework, a tool that is based on the excellent Python programming language and incorporates some of the best industry standard practices in web development. The DSF supports the development process by sponsoring developer sprints, conferences, promotes the framework to the web developer community and much more.
Over the last 3 years Butchershop Creative has had the opportunity and the privilege to create some really great technological solutions for a wide variety of businesses. With every client we have looked at all available options and have picked software platforms that met the clients current and future needs. One tool has stood out as the most flexible and scalable solution - Django. We used it to create great web sites for businesses as small as a personal web site for a painter with a single image gallery, to large email newsletter and news and content sites with thousands of pages. In each case the designers, developers and most importantly clients were happy with how quickly features could be prototyped, implemented and tested.
