We are so very proud of Lauren and her company. She has worked so very hard and has never wavered in her promise to deliver the most creative and inspiring interiors. There really is no one like her and we are very excited, happy and proud to call her a client and a friend.

JACKALOPE SESSION 1

Butchershop Creative™ & Irontree Consulting host the first of many bi-monthly Jackalope Sessions.

1/1

The Jackalope Sessions are designed to create a relaxed yet intentional environment where creative, entrepreneurial, and innovative minds unite. It's all about learning, sharing, and connecting with other free thinkers. There's no agenda, no catch, and no expectations...although we know that amazing things will come from packing a room full of left and right brain juggernauts that don't suck.

Butchershop Creative & our great friend Regan Bach of Irontree Consulting kicked off the Jackalope Session Tuesday, May 10, 2011 and the energy was buzzing. It was a pleasure to have Mike Barash from Knock2x and David Scott co-host this event with us. People enjoyed awesome conversation and introductions while sipping wine and enjoying beer thanks to Hidden Vine Wine Bar and Black Star Beer. In between drinks, people filled up on Golden Boy Pizza from North Beach and Mission Minis cupcakes. Couldn't have hit the spot better than that.

As the evening unfolded, it was apparent we were on to something. Our guests were posting their thoughts and topics for the next Jackalope Session. People seemed intrigued and posted a range of interesting suggestions: "what is prophetic leadership and does it exist?" or "can a successful viral video be scripted?" Questions like these bring up a brainstorm of possibilities that get us excited to put the next event together.

Stay tuned for Jackalope Session 2 in July. If you are interested in attending the next session, please email jackalope@butchershopcreative.com.

THE SECRET MISSION STATEMENT

1/1

So this lady who is a writer and happens to be my mother, Reagan Hubbard, sent me a text a few months ago. The context: We shared a conversation about the state of Butchershop Creative and how proud I was that our agency was pushing out great work. She asked me, "why do your clients like working with you?" I responded with something along the lines of being fun and energetic, kind of irreverent and of course, smart. She then said, "no, but really why do THEY like working with YOU. What is it?" I thought about and she sent me this mission statement that she thought summed up why people like working with Butchershop Creative and the crew we have here at 440 Mission Street. Take it or leave it, but it had a profound effect on the outlook and current state of affairs here at the shop. It actually set the course for the bright future.

The Secret Mission Statement of Butchershop Creative™

"We promise to promote love forever and ever and ever. We are yours in partnership, in the total destruction of fear and of disapproval. In the movement of love and joy, we celebrate success through the service of creativity and the annihilation of inner crap that keeps us shut down, complacent, and afraid to move."

Misha said it sounds kinda like wedding vows. So, for you, I do. Cheers.

NEW BUTCHERSHOP CREATIVE WEBSITE IS ALIVE

We have been working so hard this past year that we thought it would be a good time to show all our work on a new website.

Check out the new site! We are proud of the work we have done in the past year.

1/1

We could tell you more about how small we are and how hard we work, but we'd much rather just tell you to check out the new site and look at all the projects we have been a part of this past year. It truly is a monumental amount of work, and we truly are blessed to have worked with some great companies and clients. We really respect the process and enjoy helping brands achieve their goals no matter how small they may seem. All of it is important and meaningful. So, thanks for looking and we hope to work together one day.

Butchershop Creative - You've Never Heard Of Them

I got to sit down the other day with Terence Clarke, a writer for the Huffington Post. We peeled back some layers and got down to some of the philosophies, principles, and values here at Butchershop Creative. I certainly am proud of this house we built and it how much I enjoy that it is perpetually a work in progress. It is always growing and evolving. Since the brother's Vladimirskiy and I started this place over three years ago, Butchershop Creative has inspired me so much to constantly be pushing the limits, turning passion into profession which was the basis of my conversation with Tery. Misha and Aleksandr and I created a partnership to create great things for our clients, bottom line. No bull shit. We have much more work to do and we are just getting warmed up. Thank you to Terence Clarke for sharing a conversation and writing such and honest article. Cheers.

Here is an excerpt from Terence Clark's piece that was published to the Huffington Post on Monday March 26, 2012, titled BUTCHERSHOP CREATIVE - YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF THEM -

Butchershop was founded in 2009 by Trevor Hubbard and brothers Aleksandr and Misha Vladimirskiy. I spoke with Hubbard recently, and asked him to elaborate on a remark he had made, in a previous conversation over coffee, that was almost a throwaway. Yet I had never heard it before, and wanted more detail. He had mentioned the importance of "passion and profession."

"When you're young, it's everyone's goal or dream that, if you do what you love, you'll have a life. Do what you love, and the money will come. But we were sold a little short on that, because it doesn't mean you can sit back and relax. Doing what you love involves great participation, and to the degree that we participate, we formulate our values ... our principles, and we find the things we love. And equally important, we find what we don't love."
