HiDef Destination

Devin hit us up for a logo for his company that specializes in remote controlled helicopters that operate HiGH DEFINITION cameras for incredible live action and still shots. The image quality is quite incredible and the access that these RC devices have over real choppers is unmatched. It saves a heap of money as well on most productions that require any sort of aerial shooting.

THE PROJECT

We wanted to focus on creating a logo that represented the important brand tenants. After speaking with Devin and Mike, the owners of HDD, it was apparent that the identity had to reflect technology, global travel, and destinations, while still feeling like it had flight. We used the camera lens as a globe and added some rings to give it some orbiting speed and to symbolize the blades of the helicopter.
